Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo has been an actress, supermodel and film maker in America. In addition to her graceful elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. She began her career modeling in the 1970s and soon became one of the top models. Following her studies in acting Russo embarked on a modeling career in Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on television in ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. The following year, she played Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities as an actress, the critics were won over because of her tenacity. They were particularly impressed by her performance in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak In which she fought her own against the likes as Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. In her own words, she was never a fanatic in acting. In 2005 she decided to take a long, self-imposed pause. She then made a comeback by playing a character in the superhero flick Thor. The Oscar-winning film of her husband Nightcrawler was also one of her performances. Later, she would star in light-hearted comedies such as The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas is one of the top female athletes in the UFC. Her journey began as an amateur fighter, competing at various regional competitions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining the UFC the fighter has quickly gained a name in the sport due her achievements both within and outside the Octagon. Namajunas was born on June 29, 1992, within Milwaukee Wisconsin. The fighter was brought up by the same Lithuanian family. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing while growing up. When she was 18 years old, she began her professional career with Invicta Fighting Championships in which she took two wins by submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, aged 22, she signed up to compete as a strawweight with UFC. Her career has had both lows and highs but she's always able to come out of it in the top position. In April 2015 Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale where she won by technical knockout less than 3 seconds into the first round One which resulted in not only champion but being named Fighter Of The Night along and making history in MMA since this match was the for the first time in history that woman was a champion in any of the major promotions around the world . Namajunas continued to win a few other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
